Hamad International Airport Doha - Airport Security Systems (2013-2014)

Client representative responsible for security systems at the new Doha International Airport including CCTV, perimeter control and intruder detection systems. Liaised with engineers, project managers and contractors to ensure system operational requirements were met. Oversaw system testing and provided technical guidance.

Dubai World Central Operational Readiness Programme (2008-2012)

Member of the project team for the operational readiness and testing programme for commissioning and opening of the first phase of the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai . Responsible  for developing the IT operational readiness plan for the airport, chairing stakeholder IT working groups, reviewing facilities for operational readiness and developing trials for ICT systems.

New Doha International Airport -Special Systems Integration (2007-2008)

Responsible for managing the development and integration of the airport operational systems including the airport operational database, flight information displays, resources management, fire alarm, security, CCTV, data network and IP telephone systems.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport Bangkok - Operational Readiness and Transfer Programme (2004-2006)

Responsible for the IT and Telecommunication ORAT processes, reviewing system provisions and developing testing and start-up plans. Responsible for reviewing IT and Telecommunication human resource requirements,  for developing departmental structures and staff requirements and the training programme for technical staff and system users. Oversaw contractor testing processes and procedures for airport operating systems and assisted in preparation of operational trials.

London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 Baggage Handling System Upgrade (2001)

Responsible for ensuring constrol systems and IT elements met client performance requirements for  Heathrow Terminal 4 baggage handling system upgrade. Responsible for development of the operations and maintenance strategy, validation of the contractors design for functionality, reliability, maintainability and flexibility.

Incheon International Airport South Korea - Operational Readiness and Transfer Programme (200-2001)

Responsible for assessing the operational readiness state of the airport systems including data communications network, information broker, airport operational database, flight information display system, common user system , baggage reconciliation, public address, integrated security and trunk radio systems. Responsible for developing system trials and analysing system performance within the operational environment. Responsible for the development of contingency plans, operational procedures, and support and maintenance procedures.

London Luton Airport - New Terminal Project (1998-2000)

Responsible for formulating the requirements, performed bid analysis and contract negotiation for an integrated security system (alarm management, access control and CCTV), flight information display system, data network systems, telephone and radio. Responsible for project managing the design, development and implementation of these systems and ensuring integration with installed systems, including the airport management system. Ensured that all software, data networking and system interfacing on the baggage handling system, hold baggage screening (x-ray) system and building management systems met the client’s requirements.
