ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau COSCAP Assignment - Timor Leste Civil Aviation Department Flight Procedure Review and Air Traffic Services Training (2012)

Responsible for assisting the Civil Aviation Department to address the 2010 ICAO audit corrective action plan. Reviewed the performance based flight procedures for standard arrivals  and departures to be implemented in 2013. Provided on-the-job training on the application of aircraft separation. Assessed the status of the air navigation services focusing on safety oversight and operation of the air traffic services. Provided on-the job training in air traffic management safety.

Sunshine Coast Airport – Airspace Design (2012-2013)

Responsible for preparing Air Traffic Services and flight procedure documentation as part of an Environmental Impact Study for a proposed new runway to be constructed at the Sunshine Coast Airport in Australia. Responsible for examination of current and future airspace architecture and assessing likely  impacts on the local environment.

Dubai World Central Operational Readiness Programme (2008-2010)

Member of the project team for the operational readiness and testing programme for commissioning and opening of the first phase of the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai . Responsible  for assisting the air traffic services provider to develop and test the air navigation services implementation plan for air traffic services; developing the air traffic control procedures and programmes for commissioning of the control tower, ATS equipment and controller training. Responsible for the review of airspace change proposals designed by the UK National Air Traffic Services, and coordinating implementation with ATS provider and United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority. Responsible for compilation of the air navigation services trials procedures, implementation and review of outcomes. Participated in the quality control oversight of the ORAT trials program.

ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau Assignment - Korean Civil Aviation Safety Authority Audit Planning and Implementation (2007)

Responsible for assessment and follow up of recommended change implementation to assist the Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s readiness for the 2008 ICAO USOAP audit. Responsible for providing advice, training and for conducting a survey of air traffic management capability.

ICAO Special Implementation Project - Indonesia National Airspace Contingency Plan (2006)

Responsible for assessing air traffic management capability as part of the special implementation project to prepare the National Airspace Contingency Plan for Indonesia, which was subsequently adopted as a regional model plan. Responsible for coordination of the contingency plan with Singapore and Malaysian Civil Aviation Authorities.

ICAO Special Implementation Project - RVSM Implementation Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia (2005)

Responsible for evaluating the status of air traffic services safety management programmes of the Cambodian, Vietnamese and Indonesian Civil Aviation Authorities in preparation for implementing  reduced vertical separation minimum, and required navigation performance based separation and data link applications for air traffic management.
